La Marzocco Home Espresso Machine
La Marzocco was founded in 1927 by Bruno and Giuseppe Bambi in Florence, Italy. From its humble roots as a metalworking studio, La Marzocco has always prioritized building its espresso machines by hand with high-quality stainless steel. Over the years, La Marzocco pioneered the first horizontal espresso boiler in 1939 as well as the first espresso machine with dual boilers in 1970.
After helping launch the expansion of espresso bars in America with the Linea in the early 1990s, La Marzocco became a standard bearer for espresso machine quality. With the release of the Strada in 2009, La Marzocco redefined espresso technology by actively involving baristas in designing the most important tool used in their craft.
Since then, La Marzocco has strived to make the best espresso machines for professional baristas, growing its presence worldwide as specialty coffee culture expanded. Today, La Marzocco has branch offices in multiple countries, though every machine is still handmade in Florence.
